The posted compensation range of $44.83 - $55.67 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities
Operates cardiac ultrasound equipment to provide and document accurate and quality studies of normal and abnormal cardiac anatomy. Technologist performs adult cardiac ultrasound exams to include M- Mode 2-D Doppler PW CW Color Flow and TEE's. The technologist will provide professional and quality care while following hospital policies procedures and standards. The echo technologist may perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor/director; stress tests and clerical assignments. The technologist will be a liaison between the echo department and physicians/staff/outside facilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Technologist will have a minimum of 1 year experience performing 2-D M-Mode and Color Flow Doppler Echo's on adults.
- Technologist will have graduated from nationally recognized Cardiac Echo ultrasound program. Obtain and maintain in good standing credentialing from 1). ARDMS or 2). CCI See required licensure below
- Must obtain registry status within one year of employment with ARDMS or CCI to include one of the following RCS RDCS RDMS or equivalent. Individuals with 18 months of experience or more must obtain appropriate credential within six (6) months. BLS (AHA) Required.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
