The posted compensation range of $46.62 - $57.90 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.
- Operation of Cardiac Ultra Sound Equipment.
- Able to perform a complete array of Diagnostic Ultra Sound Procedures as ordered by a Physician.
- Able to select proper probe to obtain excellent results for Cardiologist interpretation.
- Able to trouble shoot equipment in determining possible failure.
- Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
- Transmits digital images to the PACS system for archiving and retrieval of patient information for filming.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate Technologist will have graduated from a Cardiac Echo ultrasound program.
- Technologist will have a minimum of 2 years experience performing 2-D, M-Mode,and Color Flow Doppler Echo's on adults., upon hire or
- High School GED, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, upon hire or
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer CCI, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echo, upon hire or
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Fetal Echo, upon hire
