The posted compensation range of $46.48 - $54.84 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions.
Every day, you will adeptly create detailed cross-sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.
To be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.
- Operation of Multi and Single Slice CT Equipment.
- Able to perform a full array of Diagnostic CT Scans on Single and Multiclade CT units.
- Able to set up and load power injector for injection of contrast for CT exam.
- Sets technical factors and follows established protocols to produce diagnostic images.
- Uses positioning and immobilization devices as appropriate in safe and effective manner
- Wears radiation dosimetry badge at collar and follows radiation protection standards.
Job Requirements
Required
- Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications and Previous CT experience, upon hire and
- Medical Radiographer: CA, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
- Registered Technologist Computed Tomography, upon hire
Preferred
- Minimum of two years' as a Radiologic Technologist
