The posted compensation range of $23.11 - $25.88 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. Responsibilities

Job Summary:
Under the direction of Physician, prepares patients for examination and assists with examinations and minor office surgeries. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

Qualifications
Minimum:
- High School diploma or GED
- Certification of a Medical Assistant program
- Current CPR California State Phlebotomy Certification (required within 12 months)
- Demonstrates skills in taking vital signs and height and weight measurements
- Knowledge of sterile technique and handling of infectious waste Ability to work as a team and communicate well and interact appropriately with others
- Able to work in spite of frequent interruptions
- High level of concentration and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Additional EMT or equivalent experience
