About CommonSpirit Health

As one of the nation's largest nonprofit systems, CommonSpirit Health now has more than 2,200 care sites and 140 hospitals in 24 states. We serve some of the most diverse communities across the nation and in each location, humankindness leads the way.

Leadership Development

We know the importance of great leadership on a team and in our culture, so we proudly offer our signature leadership program, Common Ground, to all leaders. This mission-based leadership development program is designed to empower our leaders with the skills and perspectives to guide their teams effectively in our unique ministry. Three segments for different leadership levels ensure that each skill is taught and discussed at the level most appropriate to each leader’s responsibilities and expectations.

Additionally, selective academies available by nomination focus on key areas of growth including operations and nursing leadership. These programs offer an in-depth exploration of key areas, ensuring our leaders are equipped to set new standards in leadership and care delivery.

Career Development

Build your skills and your career with our extensive library of online resources like books, courses, and videos. These are free to employees and support technical skills like project management, as well as broader skills like communication or teamwork.

Tuition Reimbursement

Is higher education part of your path? CommonSpirit Health offers a tuition reimbursement benefit that helps offset the cost of tuition and academic fees. Through our Academic Pathways Program, many schools also offer discounts exclusively to CommonSpirit employees that can further reduce the cost, making a degree even more affordable. More than 3,500 schools are eligible for reimbursement and hundreds offer financial benefits to employees.
