Responsibilities
About This Position:
Assumes leadership role for department personnel to prepare and assist them in their responsibilities to give quality respiratory care to patients of all ages in collaboration with other members of the health care team. Demonstrates proficient technical skills in the performance of respiratory therapies. Demonstrates a working knowledge of current trends in respiratory therapies; specialty technical standards equipment supplies; safety principles and practices. Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally. Establishes effective working relationships with other department medical staff and co-workers.
Selection Criteria:
Experience in acute Respiratory Therapy. Previous managerial experience preferred. RCPs without previous managerial experience will be considered on an individual basis Current California License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. NALS Certification Current California License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. NALS Certification
Qualifications
