Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Security Supervisor to oversee our security operations and team at Northridge Hospital Medical Center. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, protecting company assets, and ensuring the safety of our employees, patients, & visitors. 

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of security officers.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, incidents, and alarms.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to identify security risks.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and company standards.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent..
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a security officer involving extensive public contact.
  • Current state-issued security officer license, showing no disciplinary actions
  • Current driver’s license issued by the state wherein the position is posted with a satisfactory DMV report on file or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Workplace violence training within 6 months of employment.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (within 90 days of employment) 
  • International Association of Healthcare Security and Security (IAHSS) Basic course (within 90 days of employment)
  • IAHSS Supervisor course (within six months of employment)
  • Fire Safety Card (CT Fire Card) required (within 90 days of employment)
