Responsibilities
All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person doing this job is responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost effective manner. Under the general guidance of the Rehab Director administers patient evaluations plans and implements patient treatment proficiently for all assigned patient diagnoses.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience as an Occupational Therapist working in a clinical setting with adult population preferably rehabilitation.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited school of occupational therapy; successful completion of a six-month internship.
- Must be currently registered with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board and have a current CPR certification.
Must demonstrates the following skills:
- Exceptional time management skills in performing all assigned tasks.
- Sound judgment in clinical decision making.
- Leadership initiative and ability to assume responsibility
- Proficiency in all OT skills; demonstrates one or more areas of well-developed clinical expertise that is used regularly in assigned area; demonstrates current continuing education in specialty area.
CCS paneled Occupational therapist will be responsible for treating any pediatric patient with CCS insurance or supervising any therapist treating such a patient.
