Responsibilities
Position Summary:
The Radiologic Staff Technologist is a Registered Radiologic Technologist who under the direction of the Radiologist or supervising technologist performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Must strictly adhere to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations as it applies to worker and patient safety.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
- CA Radiology Tech (R) (F)
- ARRT
- BLS (AHA required)
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written skills to facilitate communication with medical and technical personnel. Must have the ability to read write and speak English.
Preferred:
IV certification preferred
1 year acute medical experience
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
